BOX WING HOUSE
Box Wing House is a strikingly contemporary addition to a Grade II listed house in East Sussex that holds a prominent position overlooking a valley.
It was a complex and unique project as everything was bespoke and the attention to detail to achieve the accuracy of design was paramount to achieve the vision for the building.
To achieve this as lead contractor we worked incredibly closely with our client and Architect to fulfil the brief. We then had to liaise with the many specialist contractors what was required to achieve the exacting standards expected.
We very much enjoyed the process and challenge of delivering the vision of the Architects and turning it into the finished building. The floating aluminium and sedum roof that spans the glass façade gives the project a striking look that works perfectly with its’ surroundings and the original building despite the stark contrast.
We were very proud to find out that it was entered into awards.
Finalist in the British Home Awards Best Extension 2018.
Finalist in the George Clarke medal 2018.
